Anyone from La Crosse County with unwanted ammunition can dispose of it properly on Saturday. [More]
I wonder if any buyers showed up.

Unwanted ammo can be donated with a much more positive effect at a local shooting range.
"Old" ammo is another subject entirely. How "old" is "too old"? While in high school (mid to late 1960's) I purchased several .30 cal ammo cans of de-linked .30-06 "black tip" AP rounds. They were head stamped DEN 43 (Denver Ordinance Plant 1943). I don't like to shoot it due to the fact that AP is difficult to get and it has corrosive primers. But the last time I tested a few rounds, they worked like a champ.
