Time to Air the Laundry?

Cornyn says he broke with Trump on deficit, border wall, but kept opposition private ... But, the senior Republican senator from Texas, who is being challenged by Democrat MJ Hegar, said he chose to work on those disagreements with the president’s staff in private discussions, rather than by publicly voicing his opposition. [More]

Which must be why the cheap labor/ no due-process gun-grabber is blabbing to the media about policy disagreements right before a critical election that threatens to inflict the nation with Biden...

Yeah, probably harsh because his record has definite pluses, but if you let these guys go without occasional bow shots they'll head completely off course. I just wish more constituents would remind him, and not take the rah-rah for the gospel.

Case in point:

Opposes "Universal" Background Checks |  Cornyn opposes the Obama/Bloomberg so-called “universal” background check system, a system that would criminalize the transfer of firearms between many honest, law-abiding gun owners.

Maybe he opposed the specific "Obama/Bloomberg" bill, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a plan of his own so the confiscators would know who to go after with his NRA-sanctioned "red flag" infringements.

Cornyn has history of voting for cloture when he could have headed off infringing bills, then voting against on final passage, after passage is assured.
