Feel the Burn

Neighbors react after husband of Denver’s District Attorney is charged with 12 felony arson counts [More]

But he's not in jail? So no chance they could charge him as a "terrorist" under the Federal Antiterrorism Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996 like they did the Hammonds?

Speaking of different treatment under the law, seeing as how he's charged with 12 felonies, will Democrat red flag-thrower DA Beth McCann, as "a family member or a member of law enforcement ... ask a court to enter an order to a person who is deemed to pose a significant risk to self or others to relinquish his ... firearms immediately and not to purchase others [and] If the person refuses, law enforcement members can execute a search warrant for the weapons"?

This is one of those "hmmmm" stories. Except for one fire that apparently did get away from him, every one of these felony charges is for a fire of his own brush on his own property that harmed no one (except, of course, the all-praised goddess Gaia). On the third hand, he has a history of burning negligently (unattended), but 12 felony counts sounds excessive.
