Perhaps some gun owners are that obtuse, but I find it more likely this came from Republican quisling apologists seeking to deceive gun owners by making their phony narrative the dominant one. The question the traitorous reps won't answer unequivocally: Why were you on the floor when you knew that would make passage inevitable?
