True, but I get a certain Highlander "There can be only one" vibe, especially factoring ISIS interests into the equation.
Kind'a makes you realize why rivalries were so brutally put down by Saddam --- "stability" there means a strongman, while "democracy" means a Balkanized Islamic "state" with lunatics even more monstrous than him unleashing their own brand of hell to establish and expand their territorial claims. These guys in the video bemoaning the lack of women in the "new" government don't get what "majority rule" means over there. They also seem pretty blind to "foreign entanglements."
How about our "leaders" address all the unvetted (and unvettable) "refugees" they're seeding in our communities here? You want to stop another 9/11, guess where you have to do it?

The Arabs are even less stable than the Turks. If properly handled they would remain in a state of political mosaic, a tissue of small jealous principalities, incapable of cohesion, and yet always ready to combine against an outside force. The alternative to this seems to be control and colonization by a European power other than ourselves, which would inevitably come into conflict with the interests we already possess in the Near East.
