This piece is a couple years old but it's one of the most insightful analyses I have read of what's going on, particularly as it relates to "mass shootings," immigration/invasion, and Republican squish backstabbing.
I'm surprised the term "Vichycon" has not seen wider use and hope to do what I can to help change that going forward.

What is really important here is that more and more people are willing to write and speak the truth about the GOP.
I would say to all correspondents - keep 'em coming.
We are not alone.
The GOP needs to take this to heart:
