Altering the Deal

Police and crime prevention workers say that these converted guns are showing up at more and more crime scenes ... Conversion devices like auto-sears can quickly and easily be fitted onto a Glock handgun by removing the polymer slide cover plate, a process that requires little technical expertise. [More]

Define "more and more." And then explain why all those folks on the NFRTR are paying top dollar and behaving themselves.

The great object here, of course, is to ban semiautos.

And the Second Amendment? They act like they can just alter the deal.

Can they?

"Can they?"

Stalin is reputed to have said "How many divisions has the Pope?"

The Constitution and Declaration of Independence are merely noble ideas recorded as ink on parchment. They have no more power than their supporters are willing and able to give them.

So, "Can they?"

They, the American Left, have never shown any inclination for backing off, or for stopping themselves. So they can and probably will pretty much do anything we let them do. That is the one and only bottom line.

The what?
Have they changed Glocks significantly since I bought all mine?
No idea what that could possibly be. Maybe it's next to the clip joint.

Well, my error. Apparently, "slide cover plate" is the official name for the door on the rear end of the slide that houses the firing pin assembly. "Today we have Naming of Parts."

My money was on "shoulder thing that goes up."
