His wounds are wholly self-inflicted and his inconsistent behavior points to self-destructive intentions. Apologies now won't cut it with anyone.
I'm surprised his lawyer hasn't argued PTSD and bipolar disorder to keep his client from getting a dishonorable discharge and losing veteran benefits.
