And:
Liberal Operative Spills The Beans: ‘We’re Trying to Make [Demographics] Destiny’ [More]
I note the moratorium idea emanates from North Carolina, and some gun rights advocates there are so focused on gerrymandering they're making the same fatal error organized Virginia activists did. They're and not even mentioning the actual greatest threat, probably for fear of being tarred as haters.

That is not a winning longterm strategy. They can and should throw back a challenge for which any rebuttal must resort to changing the subject and avoiding a direct response.

Because here is what they are faced with (and this hardly comes from a "rightwing" source):

"According to Dr. Johnson, the Hispanic population grew by 1,114 percent from 1990-2016..."

Said another way, "According to Dr. Johnson, a 70% anti-gun Democrat population grew by 1,114 percent from 1990-2016..."

If you are going to present yourself as a leader for the rest of us to follow, deliberate avoidance because of what the enemy will say about you hardly serves to inspire.

Connecting the Dots

Listen and learn the connection between the USMCA “Trade Agreement”, the North American Union, an Article V Convention, and red flag gun confiscation laws. The globalists have a coordinated plan to take our Constitution away from us.
I have this starting at 27:00 to go straight to the relevant portion. Feel free to start at the beginning and watch the whole thing.

It should disturb all of us that this was posted on Dec. 2 and the YouTube site registers only 592 views at this writing.  That is shameful.

Report on F.B.I. Russia Inquiry Finds Serious Errors but Debunks Anti-Trump Plot ...He also exonerated former F.B.I. leaders, broadly rejecting Mr. Trump’s accusations that they engaged in a politicized conspiracy to sabotage him. [More]
Did it really "debunk"?  Did he really "exonerate"?
We did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced” officials’ decision to open the investigation, the report said.
That they did not find something is not the same as proving it does not exist.

Horowitz -- you gotta understand who the guy is and where he's coming from.

You gotta understand he pulled the same crap on his "Gunwalker" report:
Case in point, Chapter One of the report identifies key individuals who declined to be interviewed ... Simlarly of significance, and hardly surprising to those following this story, the report notes “The White House did not produce to us any internal White House communications, noting that “’the White House is beyond the purview of the Inspector General’s Office, which has jurisdiction over Department of Justice programs and personnel.’”
The result?
That has not stopped the search term “clears Holder” from already becoming the meme du jour on the “Authorized Journalist” Google News feed, meaning it will soon become “common knowledge’ among those who are not long-term and in-depth observers.
It's all a continuing con job that most are oblivious to. Of the remainder, most will excuse and even champion it, and of the ones who don't, most will do nothing about it.

VA Dems Calling Second Amendment Sanctuaries Civil War Flashpoints

Just to be clear—rather than face up to the truth of who is doing the killings in his district, Jones is blaming the “disproportionate harm” committed by his Norfolk constituents on residents of counties like Tazewell, where the Board of Supervisors not only overwhelmingly passed a sanctuary resolution, but went a step further and passed a Militia resolution, both to overwhelming citizen approval. Who is kidding who? [More

Liberty is reliant upon the participation of free people, and this includes the vast number of citizens and communities who are lawfully exercising their rights under the First Amendment to defend their freedoms under the Second. It is the tyrannical nature of politicians that triggers sanctuary, not the other way around. [More]

Or as they try to convince their Twitter followers:
Stronger gun laws are popular and necessary—and they’re also constitutional.
Speaking of Twitter, this thread has some good rebuttal info.

Infringements will never be constitutional, but as for "popularity," they're working on it. Too bad "the gun lobby" doesn't have the stomach to even admit the threat, let alone do anything about it. Why, if they do, The New Yorker and other snotty media leftists will tar them as haters and extremists.

Semper Inferior

Between the questions of constitutionality, the City & State’s sudden ‘change of heart,’ and the matter of unrestricted transport, this is where I see this case not being moot. [More]

This is a pretty thorough and compelling analysis and has the added benefit of appearing in a "mainstream" venue. With all that considered, we all have an interest in sharing the link around and even in leaving relevant comments, to demonstrate to those in charge of editorial admissions that intelligent coverage of this topic boosts readership and to help important voices escape the echo chamber.

I started writing this post before I went on the Michael Dukes Show this morning, and we discussed that, as well as my problem of not being able to think of a good title for it. Noting the article appears on Shore News, he suggested somehow incorporating New Jersey's motto, "Liberty and Prosperity." Noting the story itself takes place in New York, and their motto is "Excelsior!" ("Higher!" or "Ever Upward!"), well, what I came up with works for me...

The Man Who Would Be King

"It's time to say enough is enough. We're just not going to put up with it anymore," Bloomberg said after describing a sweeping agenda that includes banning assault-style weapons, requiring everyone to obtain a permit before purchasing a firearm and instituting a national red-flag law to allow authorities to seize guns from those deemed a threat to themselves or others...Bloomberg's plan also includes banning high-capacity magazines; setting a minimum age of 21 to buy handguns, semi-automatic rifles and shotguns; requiring a 48-hour waiting period before all gun purchases; temporarily banning gun possession for those convicted of assault and other violent crimes; and overturning a law that gives gun manufacturers broad immunity from lawsuits. [More]

I'm sorry, that doesn't fit in with my plan.

How about with yours?
