Yep, Mitt "No semi-autos in MY state, enjoy your socialized MassCare or pay a fine" Romney is getting a lot of attention as a potential nominee.
I just said on Sipsey Street that if the Republicans would just be who they claim to be, people would either follow or hate their guts, but the followers would at least know the trust was mutual. For a long time I've urged my Republican congressman and Dem senators to emulate the libertarians and moderate conservatives now on the national radar as the Tea party.

Yes, I'd expect the Rockefeller Republicans (that is, most of them) will seriously consider additional gun confiscation legislation at the national level.
We need to impress upon them how dangerous that is to their life span.
There will be no compromise and no prisoners taken.
