This is why volunteers to keep an eye on local happenings are so critical. The state group is already overburdened, with a handful doing everything.
I also question why the supposedly "assumed" pro-carry Republican was absent, as he had to know the discussion would be a new business agenda item. Perhaps it was something serious he could not help so I don't want to presume judgment, but it's fair to wonder why a warning could not have gone out from him and the other non-communists on the commission.
