Not a Mourning Person

 There Were 93,331 Drug Overdose Deaths in the US in 2020 and ZERO Deaths from Climate Change in the US in 2020 [More]

I don't mean to sound callous, and I admit I've never suffered the terrible subjective grief of having a loved one die from that, but I just can't get too objectively worked up for a number of reasons.

No one forced these druggies to take their poison. If you stepped in to "Help" them get off it they would cry and rant and attack you about their rights. It would be "inhuman" to remove them from a social setting where they could get clean.
As far as I'm concerned it is a self inflicted injury.
