I'd love to see some enterprising attorney file a lawsuit enjoining Facebook and Twitter from calling them "fact checks" in the first place.

IANAL, but under some combination of First Amendment, "truth in advertising", and the admission that they're more like "protected opinions", using "fact checks" as an excuse to censor alternate views should be legally actionable.
