So what kind of chance do Michigan gun owners have when the Democrat who proposed this agrees with a leading "Republican" on even more infringements?

Seeing how close the race was, I do wonder if gun owners could have made a difference in Bayer's last election. Maybe if they'd been offered someone who didn't oppose permitless carry...?
