I just saw this critique of Mike's post on Facebook:
We've tried things your way -- how has that worked out, aside from the lines in front of the DESPP building? Sorry, but based on your opinion, I'm presuming you're not one of these guys.
And yes, we all know about the court challenge. And how. We've all seen the ruling and the prognosis. All SCOTUS has to do is nothing.
If you have a better plan than exposing these monsters for what they are and ginning up defiance and determined resistance, flesh it out for us, or are you saying there is never legitimacy in defiant disobedience? If you have something to add besides dismissing the proactive efforts of others, you ought to offer it when you post comments like that, to help guide and steer us into more effective action.
Give us something you believe will be effective that we haven't already tried to exhaustion. Give us something that will inspire...

Note: This article was written before news of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman's death was announced. The timing of it with the news of his death is purely coincidental. Once published, it was removed and slightly rewritten to accommodate that news by removing recommendations for his future actions.

That said, any hold-outs still selling to state agencies (or individual LEOs who are exempt from list restrictions) ought to be told the facts of life in no uncertain terms by a united gun owner front.
And while we're at it, let's stop providing training to those who will use it against us.

I'd like to know if continued hope-pinning on the legal system for relief is just a waste of time, as I suspect, but even Embody doesn't give this much chance of being heard.
Rather than being afraid to hear the answer, we ought to have been demanding it all along. I guess some feel if we don't ask the question, we'll never have to face dealing with the answer.

Holder position on pot and banks could end up entrapping gun owners
While ATF is prohibited by law from creating a database of gun owners, data-gathering can be done by other federal agencies strictly by monitoring financial transactions, and it's not unreasonable to wonder if that's already occurring with gun and ammo purchases, with all that implies. In this age of NSA spying on everything, and the feds having an eye on all banking transactions, it will be interesting to see if that information is collected and then shared between agencies, and if someone using a card at a dispensary subsequently finds his name kicked out on a NICS check.
