This girl was seriously gorgeous, clad in black leather, spiked heels, and she was buying a large studded collar. I had to stifle laughing, because my first thought was "She ain't got no dog."

Media Spreads Fake News with VPC Silencer Disinformation

Calling a handful of isolated anecdotes woven into an attack piece a “study” is the first bit of deception. You Suppose Right

An anonymous troll (is there any other kind?) presumes to have come up with an original "gotcha." [More]

Someone's prejudices are showing. No wonder he projects.

His supposition that race should be a disqualifer from rights reflects on his own ignorance, biases and shortcomings, no one else's.  But yes, as a matter of fact, as long as everyone is exercising their right to keep and bear arms without initiating threats and violence, the rights of all peaceable people should be respected, and that's hardly a new stance:

I could go on and on and on and...

Here's a free tip for you, pal: Scout the terrain before engaging.

This guy would really benefit from spending less time smugly presuming to judge gun owner rights advocates and more time considering why a monopoly of violence is a prerequisite for totalitarianism. Not Meaning to Start a Conspiracy Theory, But...

[No More]
That's curious, because you can find no shortage of other videos of the Charlottesville car crash, and per WarOnGuns Correspondent Florida Guy's analysis:
My 2 cents:1. Driver was a professional.  CALM, straight- back reverse    at high speed without wobble after impact.....2. Heavily blacked out side windows. 3.  Freeze frame at:   :21   you can see inside....front windshield     note steering wheel.      Were the AIRBAGS disconnected ?  Looks like IT !I wonder if the REAL driver normally wears a necktie to work, and carries a Glock ?
I can't say because I haven't seen it, and can't now. But couple that with an observation I made:
But there’s one curious thing about alleged assailant and apparent lone wolf James Alex Fields Jr., whom the media is making sure everyone is told was “a registered Republican” — his Facebook page, where he is said to have praised both Donald Trump and Adolf Hitler has been deleted from public scrutiny. That means is all we will hear about him is what has been funneled to the media and they are parroting. The path for independent investigative journalists to see for ourselves and to pull threads on our own has been effectively blocked, so we’re now essentially dependent on those with an agenda to craft the narrative and to decide what they’re going to include in it for public consumption.
Is it really that unreasonable to speculate on how it's understandable if some people suspect we're being played?

They're getting to that. All the Marxists know how to do is demand obedience enforced through a monopoly of violence.

Charlottesville reflected a deliberate stand-down ordered for political exploitation purposes. Some friends of mine are working up an analysis of that along with a comparison of results where peacekeeping was proactive. I'll be sure to link to that when it's posted.

When Rules Collide

A few years ago, when discussing a variety of issues with the noted and very talented Class 2 manufacturer of firearms, Len Savage of Historic Arms, we discovered an oddity in the firearms law. [More]
T.J. Mullin at Outdoor Guide Magazine brings us up to date in "Shockwave Skirts Rules, Saves Lives."

Here's the backstory. ATF explained in its 2009 Newsletter.

As I wrote in 2015 at the now-defunct Examiner.com:
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ classification of pistol grip only firearms with 14” barrels that fire shotgun shells and are over 26” in overall length as neither “shotguns” nor National Firearms Act “Destructive Devices” or “Any Other Weapons” has created a situation wherein the agency must either quietly save face or have it exposed that untold numbers of good faith gun owners currently legally possess firearms problematic for the government to allow.
Somehow, I don't think it's our "small cadre" that's weaving that "tangled web."

One wonders: Can incitement charges be dismissed due to a First Amendment "performance art" excuse? How this is not eligible for a RICO look-see is unclear, and on the civil front, the words "knew or should have known" come to mind when considering consequences and the culpability of the money men behind them.

Michigan Adoption Rules Demonstrates Gun-Grabber Preference for Ignorance over Knowledge

(Photo: Oleg Volk)
Responsible gun owners know that one size does not fit all, and while there are situations where it makes sense to keep unauthorized hands away from stored guns, the most effective thing a loving, gun-owning parent can do for their children is to give them development-appropriate (notice I did not say “age”) education and training – as opposed to the incompetence-assuring ignorance and avoidance demanded by the antis. Stossel Enables NYC Government to Traumatize Gun Owners

Yeah, John, we know they're monopoly of violence fascists. [More]

So why are you actively abetting the cultural and political terraforming that will enable them to take over the entire Republic?

In addition to explaining the California experience, produce credible data – something that can be independently validated – that “amnesty” and a “pathway to citizenship” for MILLIONS of foreign nationals in this country illegally (and even legally, with current culturally suicidal policies) WILL NOT overwhelmingly favor Democrats and anti-gunners. Show us your sources and methodologies for determining this WILL NOT result in supermajorities in state and federal legislatures that will be able to pass all kinds of anti-gun edicts.

Show us how this WILL NOT result in nominations and confirmations of judges to the Supreme and federal courts who will uphold those edicts, and reverse gains made to date. The sudden passing of Justice Scalia, and the precarious balances of the Heller and McDonald decisions, ought to drive home for all how dangerously critical that is.

Notice I didn’t ask you for platitudes, or for anecdotes about exceptions to the rule, or about who is turning up in increasing numbers at gun stores and ranges – that doesn’t matter if you can’t point to a corresponding overriding shift in voting trends. I didn’t ask for wishful speculation about how education and outreach programs MIGHT help bring more over to the NRA side.

I asked you to show how all credible estimates putting the disparity at over 70% Democrat and anti-gun are wrong (and how the needle barely moves in the right direction after 20 years). If you think that can be changed, you’re going to need to be specific about how (assuming it can be done, which you’ll also need to spell out), and how by then the damage won’t be irreversible, beyond any kind of beltway insider political “solution.”

Like Grover Norquist, NRA and everyone else I've issued this challenge to, you won't directly and unequivocally answer it either, because you can't.

For calendar year 2016, ATF’s NTC traced more than 364,000 firearms.  In the Caribbean countries of the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago a total of 2,340 firearms were traced.  In the Central American countries of Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Panama, a total of 5,728 guns were traced.  Pistols again topped the list as the most recovered type of firearm, except for Haiti, where shotguns were the most traced firearm. During that same time, the NTC traced 13,452 firearms recovered in Mexico, and 1,549 firearms recovered in Canada.  [More]
