We talked about what he called "the tiger talkers" and how he wished that he could drag all of them through the cemetery to get some idea of the reality of civil war, of the cost in blood and tears and irretrievable human potential. GUN BAN HEARING LOCATION MOVED

We have learned that the City of Corvallis has changed the location of its hearing on a proposed ban on loaded firearms in the city to the Majestic Theater. The hearing is scheduled for Nov 3rd at 5.30 PM. The theater is at 115 SW 2nd Ave in downtown Corvallis.
It's imperative that Second Amendment supporters be at this hearing. If this ordinance is passed it will be one more nail in the coffin of our rights and these bans will spread across the state.
Please do all you can to be at this hearing and speak out for gun rights and the Constitution.
I am surprized at being reported to your Excellency in the manner I have been by major general Heath, but am happy in the persuasion that my reasons for my conduct will be satisfactory both to you and to service. [More]
