We're the Fauxnly Ones...

A man impersonating a police officer pulled a gun on a Gillette woman Thursday morning after stopping her on State Highway 259 between Midwest and Interstate 25...

Thursday morning's incident is the third in less than a week in Natrona County involving someone who approached a driver while apparently posing as a law enforcement officer.
It's getting harder and harder to tell the legitmate highwaymen apart from the fake ones these days...

We're the Only Ones Particularly Satisfied Enough

It's a form of recycling that many local law enforcement agencies find particularly satisfying, because it ensures that those guns will never resurface in a criminal case.
I notice the Camden County "Only Ones" haven't offered their guns up for manhole covers...I guess because cops are so much smarter and better than the rest of us, it's no problem with their guns being "on the street," right?

And speaking of melting steel, "Authorized Journalist" Allison certainly deserves to hear from anyone sick and damn tired of anti-gun propaganda masquerading as news.

"But"-Watching in Twin Falls

Ryan Horsley, manager of Red's Trading Post in Twin Falls, says sales of assault-type rifles, such as military-style AR-15s, have jumped, far outselling traditional, bolt-action hunting rifles.

"It's really unpopular to say you are not a fan of the Second Amendment, so what you have to look out for are the 'buts,' " Horsley told The Times-News. "What you often hear is a candidate saying something like, 'I support the Second Amendment, but we need to ban certain guns.' "
Indeed. And the biggest stinkers always seem to have the biggest "buts."

BUT it's always nice to see an uptick in preparedness planning...

And There Was War in Heaven

Mike Vanderboegh and Jeff Knox are squaring off. WRSA has posted all links to the discussion thus far.

I'll have some comments as I find the time. Miles to go before I sleep and all that. It may be tomorrow.

Heat generated so far notwithstanding, they've both made points I believe are important to understand and consider. I'll explain when I pick up on this again.

We're the Only Ones Mixed Up Enough

The mixup on Tuesday started when a customer saw the clerk's arms raised and saw McQueen with a gun, and thought the store was being robbed.
Well, it was...

When "Only Ones" collide...

We already knew that, of course, but it gives me an excuse to post this:

We're the Only Ones Docked Enough

A Jacksonville police officer who punched a man during a possible road-rage fight in April won't face criminal charges, but he forfeited 10 days of pay, authorities confirmed Wednesday.
How many think if one of us, in a fit of road rage, followed a Jacksonville "Only One" home and started punching him out in his driveway, that the worst consequences we'd suffer would be having our pay docked?

Anybody think this might be a good way to have an instant death sentence invoked, one where no department procedures were violated?

10 days pay. I guess, in a way, the city of Jacksonville just determined what the life of a citizen is worth.

Turn In Your Deer Rifle And Your 12-gauge Shotgun To The Texas Department Of Gun Control

That is an order that will never be given by a Democratic government. Democrats will protect Americans’ Second Amendment right to own firearms, and will keep guns out of the hands of criminals and terrorists by fighting gun crime, reauthorizing the assault weapons ban, and closing the gun show loophole, as President Bush proposed and failed to do.
And when the democrat government issues that order, how many men like me are you willing to kill in order to implement your ban on semiautos and other disarmament schemes Barbara Hudson, you genius? Because I won't obey them.

Get this straight. I don't care about your damned grilled bacon-wrapped dove breasts, which actually sounds like something that ought to be kept private between you and whoever will have you. Do you think Liberty was purchased with blood, powder, lead and steel so that you damn treasonous Fudds could eat venison backstrap smothered in gravy around a campfire, and then crap it out on Rights that were once paid for in human lives?

You stupid woman.

W-3, who sent me this story, wanted to share his thoughts:
I can’t believe the ramblings of this poor brainwashed rabid b****. The majority of the her so-called “gun crimes” are innocent actions that left wing democrats have over the past few years converted into criminal acts. These people have created the crises they now want to fix by throwing more and more legal citizen gun owners into jail. Barbara Hudson may not have any intention of attempting to get legislation passed by the Texas Legislature but her statements make it pretty obvious that her agenda includes action against our inalienable rights allegedly protected by the 2nd Amendment on the federal level, and the feds don’t give a Big Rat’s Ass about our state and local laws. You will be declared a criminal and/or terrorist by federal legislation regardless of Texas statute. And, when you are killed or arrested by the unconstitutional standing acronym army of federal agents your firearms will be confiscated, never to be seen again, and you will become a statistic in their democratic war against gun criminals and terrorists.

It's really hard to believe that crap like Hudson wrote actually came out of a Texas woman's brain. It’s hard to believe that otherwise right thinking Texas Democrats are buying into this agenda out of party loyalty. I refuse to be a member of the flock - Democrat or Republican. When it becomes obvious that the group with which I identify is traipsing off in a direction that is detrimental to the Republic and is threatening the inalienable rights of American citizens, I will “jump ship”.

Henry David Thoreau is quoted as having said, “Any fool can make a rule and all the fools will follow it.” In that vein, any fool can establish an agenda and all the fools will follow it.

Barbara Hudson along with other poor misguided democrats must spend the majority of their time seated in the lotus position, humming, "Obamamamamama Obamamamamama Obamamamamama ........"

Even though I live a few hundred miles from Blanco County I'm actually ashamed to share air with someone who so obviously appears to be a descendant of some damnyankee carpetbagger. [ Yeah, Add hominy and grits]

If it proves out that the media is correct, and they probably are as the media usually determines the results of so-called democratic elections, the Obama messiah and the rest of his brainwashed minions will manage to achieve control of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of the united States government. And, you will more than probably lose more by “due process” than just your rights ?protected? by the 2nd amendment.

You are aware, aren’t you, that the government can take anything it wants from you by using “due process”? If your government wants you dead, you will die and the standing acronym army won’t look back or hesitate, except to add your ears to its coup along with Ms Weaver’s, those of the 80 Waco folks’, the Wounded Knee victims’, Sherman’s civilian victims’, and a multitude of others’.

NOW is the time to purchase a handgun, a shotgun, an AR-15 (or similar rifle), and plenty of ammunition. BEFORE the unthinkable occurs.

Oh, Wow, Man, This Power Trip is AWESOME

An initiative in Massachusetts to decriminalize the possession of an ounce of marijuana has stirred up some hypocritical public posturing on the issue.
Funny, how they get a power fix, and yesterday's liberal-minded become today's blue-nosed puritan fascists.

Tell me being able to wield the coercive might of the state isn't the most mind-altering high of all--and the most dangerous and deadly. Very few users can take a hit off that blunt and not pick it up again and again, sucking in even more every time...

A Cutting Edge Proposal

Politicians in the city of Worcester, Massachusetts -- Wormtown, to those of us who attended college there and ruined our hearing listening to punk bands at Ralph's -- propose to ban the possession in public of knives with blades longer than 1.5 inches.
Because--you know--we can't be trusted but they can. Or something.

I do have to give District 3 Councilor Paul P. Clancy Jr some credit, though. How anyone could make the kinds of moronic public statements he has and not be laughed and pointed at every time he appears in public is a pretty neat trick. It's almost like his constituents are more ridiculously ignorant than he is.

Does this arrogant, dim-witted "Only One" realize what a stereotype he is, what an embarrassment and a joke?

Where do they find these moronic, low-grade losers?

And why do brilliant academic minds consider them more worthy than the rest of us?

Operation

OPERATION BOARD GAMES | Feds charge political power broker William Cellini with conspiring to shake down a Hollywood producer for $1.5 million for a Blagojevich campaign fund...

What an operation. And it is a game to the manipulators.

But I'm not laughing when I hear about "republicans," and rich ones at that, conspiring with democrats to undermine our rights, which is what Blago's all about.

Someone must have removed my funny bone.

If I'd had time this morning, I'd have reworked the graphic, replacing the joke body part names with words like "Ethics" and "Morality." Except, realistically, you'd need to reverse the way the game is played, and put those things into the holes.

This Day in History: October 31

As many Officers, and others, have begun to inlist men for the Continental Army, without Orders from Head Quarters; The General desires, that an immediate Stop be put thereto; that the inlistments be return'd; and that no person for the future, presume to interfere in this matter, 'till there is a proper establishment of Officers, and those Officers authorised and instructed in what manner to proceed. Commissions in the new Army are not intended merely for those, who can inlist the most men; but for such Gentlemen as are most likely to deserve them.

Pay No Attention to the Sidebar

I just noticed the damn Unicef ad that Google Ads figured would be such a great match for this site based on key words/content or whatever the hell they use. Unfortunately I cannot click on it to determine its source and filter it out, and because it's a Flash thingie, right-clicking tells me nothing--nor does the ad filter guide--it does not show up when I follow their instructions. I entered the url from the ad and blocked it, but that may not be where it goes. I can't ask one of you to send me the url because that's also a no-no.

I will continue doing what I can to kick those anti-gun globalist parasites out of here. In the mean time, do not click on their ad--I don't want them thinking this is a good market for them or for like ads.

If this continues to be a problem, I may just cut the damn ads altogether--the whopping .40 I've made so far today is hardly worth compromising the integrity of this site--I'd need at least twice that much. As it stands, I think my ROI for labor here averages out to about .03/hour anyway.

Truth and Consequences

As these words are written, the media-ordained front runner is planning to ratchet up his controls over you. If he wins, as leading opinion-makers seem to be cheer leading and prepping everyone for, and if that’s accompanied by his party making significant gains in the House and Senate, we ain’t seen nothin’ yet. The stakes and consequences are huge.
Today's Gun Rights Examiner column is up. As always, your assistance in spreading the link around will be appreciated.

Here's a quick and easy way to help share these columns: Digg 'em. The more clicks they get, the more they will be noticed.

The Mere Mention of a Gun

Neighbors who live near the latest shooting say lately the mention of a gun is terrifying.

Patricia Brant says, “It's just too close to home. I'm getting ready to have a grandbaby coming and it's scary.”
Well, why didn't you say so, Patricia?

This changes everything for me. And we need to tell your inconsiderate neighbors to stop those preparations. If they shoot someone in self defense, it might wake up the grandbaby.

Good grief.

And if You Act Now, We'll Throw in the Two Extra Shamwows at No Extra Cost

Officials with a company that manufactures shotgun racks sent out a news release Tuesday that asked, "Could a Bedside Shotgun Rack Have Saved Jennifer Hudson's Family from Tragic Death?"
The answer, of course, is "No," unless they got the drop on the gunman and hit him over the head with it.

While the question of the effects of Chicago "gun control" on the outcome might be legitimate, raising it like this just strikes me as...uh...not the best way, to put it politely.

I remember commenting on this product once before, and now I can't locate the post...

Brian Collins, "Authorized Journalist"

Gun sellers across central Texas say customers are buying more automatic guns because of the election.
While I'm glad Texans are making their preparations, too, I gotta say, this Brian Collins character is one of the most...authorized "Authorized Journalists" I've come across in a long time.

Brian, I don't suppose you ever heard the adage "Write what you know"?

You probably don't even know what the problem is, do you?

Good grief. Seeing ignoramuses like this get paid for incompetent reporting just drives me nuts.
