But Wait, There's More!

As you can see by the number of posts today, I really got loaded up over the weekend. I don't have time for anything else today, because I've got an article to write and meatspace tasks to do.

If you still want more, I suggest heading on over to The Gun Feed, which, come to think of it, ought to be a daily stop without me saying anything.

What Women Want

Women want one thing—keep your mind out of the gutter. It’s guns. They want lots of guns. This isn’t anything new. For the Left, this might be a massive revelation, but the truth is this trend has been ongoing for years. Women lining up for concealed carry permits is booming. Women-only firearm courses are booming. Gun sales among women are booming. And if there’s one thing we should know about politics and elections, it’s that it’s probably not the best idea to be against something that a lot of women support, especially white middle-class women. [More]

Tag, You're It!

When embedded in military guns, RFID tags can trim hours off time-intensive tasks, such as weapon counts and distribution. Outside the armory, however, the same silent, invisible signals that help automate inventory checks could become an unwanted tracking beacon. [More]

Unwanted by whom?

I'm sure plenty of domestic enemies would salivate at the prospect of enacting a "commonsense gun safety" mandate. And why stop there when remote shutoff switches could help the "Only Ones" make sure the "law-abiding" stay that way come confiscation time?

And why stop there?

The Wrong Questions

Biden hasn’t ordered dishonorable discharges for vaccine refusers in military, as viral post claimed [More]

True. And only an idiot (or a plant trolling for suckers) would make such a claim. That doesn't invalidate the FACT that the danger exists for those fighting back and losing. But it sure makes it look that way.

Case in point (via Michael G):

Veteran of Afghanistan war with heart conditions faces possible dishonorable discharge for refusing COVID vaccine

Here's another tactical Politifact deception:

The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine contains an “undisclosed ingredient. … How is informed consent possible?”

That calculated dismissal presumes that's the only informed consent issue presented and ignores the FACT that Andy Nguyen has zero medical qualifications and has no idea what other dangers, especially long-term ones, will manifest.

But don't take my word for how agenda-driven Politifact always has been.

You could go down the line with ratings these narrative amplifiers post and see how many fit right in with Mr. Pynchon's truism:

Begging for Mercy -- Or at Least Understanding

I currently have dozens of email tips in a larger queue that go to videos. It would literally take me over two hours to watch just what's in the lineup now, and I do need to watch them  -- to make sure they're not duplicating something I've already covered, to see if I agree with the presenter's conclusions, to see if I can find a more informative and authoritative source, and just to understand what I'm being asked to pass along to others. That's time I just don't have. It's afternoon already and I'm still just getting to opening stuff that came in yesterday.

Add to that, as long as I'm venting, many of them take forever to get to the point, plus I'm a big believer in driving traffic to the original source when I can, as opposed to someone riffing off of someone else's work. And the sad reality is, not all of us have effective telepresence. Sorry, but I don't do videos for a reason.

Links to tangentially relevant stories I can handle. Most of those I can absorb, process, and react to in the time it takes me to watch a video.

Please understand if I can't get to something you sent me. It doesn't mean I'm an unappreciative bastard.

And look who else the "community hero" protected us from!

Looks like they fired him before he could rough up a "Make a Wish" kid for the "Only Ones" Trifecta.

NRA’s Double-Super-Secret ‘Rescheduled’ Annual Meeting [More]

Jeff Knox exposes intolerable conduct, and once more, the go-along Board shares a huge part of the blame.

I'm wondering what it would take for a member coalition to get an injunction to stop this transparency sneak-around.

The Ol' One-Two Redux

The worst may still be coming. Mouynes said there are as many as 60,000 migrants — mostly Haitian — poised to make their way north to the U.S.-Mexico border. [More]

And here comes the follow-up:

Two congressional Republicans say they have learned from a whistleblower that the Biden administration is warning Border Patrol agents they will be fired unless they receive the COVID vaccination by November — even as illegal immigrants crossing into the US don’t have to get the shot.

But the people who are against embedded political domestic enemies destroying the system established by the Founders are "anti-government extremists."

The One-Two Punch

In a letter sent Wednesday, National School Boards Association President Viola Garcia and Interim Executive Director and CEO Chip Slaven appeal directly to President Joe Biden, asking him to step in amid rising threats to school officials due to the right-wing furor surrounding mask mandates and critical race theory. “As these acts of malice, violence, and threats against public school officials have increased, the classification of these heinous actions could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes,” the letter says. [More]

You "greatest domestic terror threats," you...

"But wait, there's more!" as the Sham-Wow commercials used to say:

Leaked Membership List Shows Top Republicans in Shadowy Group With Extremists

Yeah, what kind of violent and hateful thugs would believe "male and female created he them," be against reenacting the Braveheart execution scene with fully-developed pre-borns or caution against open borders for ISIS?

With Daily Beast neoBolshviks being the ones to define "extremists," you can even bring tepid swamp lumps like Rancid Prepuce into the fold, and we know how that lets them characterize those of us even less "moderate."
