| 7-year-old provokes administration wrath. |
Apparently Mary Blair Elementary, the school that suspended the 7 year-old for tossing an imaginary grenade into an imaginary box in an imaginary game of "Save the (Imaginary) World", have taken down their entire web site. As of 12:50AM EST, I get a 404 on every page I try to reload, including the contact pages on which I first found the staff emails I used to share the imaginary grenade attack picture.
Imagine that. [More]

Please help spread this one and help expose these ambitious "official" sadists for what they are.
FYI - just received word that Clear Channel's DC/Baltimore stations have also rejected the COME AND TAKE IT ad (WASH, WBIG, WWDC, WIHT, and WMZQ).That's an excellent point. Feel free to make it to the ones helping to suppress a freedom message while they enjoy the benefits of using "public airwaves" under license from a government that is specifically tasked, hell, mandated "to secure the Blessings of Liberty."
Damn frustrating that at the very same time the President is flying around the country on our dime selling gun control, I can't BUY time to respond.

Time to roll up our sleeves and start a serious push to get this campaign funded.
We need to raise $50,000 over the next ten days. Impossible? No. We had over 900 backers on our first campaign and we've had only a little over 200 so far participate in this campaign. So, if all of the original backers will kick in, along with the new donors that have joined us, we will easily reach our goal. But we need all of you to spread the word to your friends and hit that "BACK THIS PROJECT" button.
Please, help us finish this very important film. http://kck.st/VZmXBM
2nd-grader suspended over imaginary grenadeBear sent the school administrators an imaginary chronicle of the event, and expects their imaginations are now in overdrive.
Calif. Law Would Force Gun Owners to Buy Insurance [More]I wish there was a policy that would protect us from mayhem -- like California Democrats.
“There were lots of hugs and kisses and happy tears,” another observer shared. “What a grand sight: Terri and Rick got to embrace each other after 526 days! What a wonderful reunion!” [More]Today's Gun Rights Examiner report brings some happy news -- but note it's just a respite, a temporary calm in the eye of the hurricane, and the wall will be slamming into them again soon, and hard. That's why it's important for you to get involved, by helping the Reese family's ability to weather what's coming, and by making others aware of their outrageous ordeal.
"How do you ask a federal judge or a juror to not enforce the laws?" he said, adding that having a sheriff's deputy trying to arrest an FBI agent would create problems. [More]Do you think there will be fewer problems if someone else handles it?
We're always glad when people visit from the coasts to learn what Texas is all about. But if we're unwilling to even consider the most limited gun regulations, then we might as well not be debating at all. [More]Exactly.
How do you know the left is firmly in charge of the political and cultural establishment in America? [More]We've seen this happen before.
February 6, 1781 at Grant's Creek, Rowan County, North Carolina - To prevent unnecessary losses in attempting to cross at Trading Ford, Cornwallis moved up river some distance to Shallow Ford. At the same time he sent Tarleton in advance to reconnoiter. Tarleton encountered Col. Francis Lock and 100 North Carolina militia who were engaged in destroying the bridge at Grant's Creek. Tarleton sent a detachment up to around the mouth of the creek, for purposes of taking Locke from the rear. As a result, Locke's troops were dispersed, though with only 1 wounded. Cornwallis later crossed the Yadkin at Shallow Ford during the night, and was on the opposite bank by the 7th. Conclusion: British Victory [More]

This will be an interesting experiment. It also may be an eye-opener for some who may not have fully thought through the consequences if the Second Amendment needs to be appealed to as a last resort, and there will be people on the panel who not only anticipate such impending circumstances, but who have backgrounds and experience that give them unique perspectives on preparation, tactics and strategies. [More]Today's Gun Rights Examiner column is more of a gateway, actually, to a conversation you're invited to be a part of.
The enemy are ‘penetrating this country.’ Lord Cornwallis is at the Trading Ford, preparing to cross the Yadkin River. The American army ‘is collecting at this place; and if the militia will turn out and give support to the army, I have not a single doubt but that we shall be able to stop his [Cornwallis’s] progress.’ The officer is to assemble the militia of Guilford and neighboring counties, with six days provisions. He is to order the county commissioners to send provisions to the army, which ‘is entirely without.’ He is also to send to NG the ‘most intelligible’ man he knows who is ‘well acquainted’ with the roads, distances, and the ‘best settlements and plentifullest place for obtaining provisions.’ The officer should reply as soon as possible.” [More]
"It's 5 p.m. Monday and they're still waiting," the source reported. "There are no ankle monitors yet, and the family is hoping U.S. Probation will get it together. Still, does that mean we can relax as far as Feinstein’s latest plot against our rights is concerned? Imagine as you’re reading this, right now, the TV playing in the background interrupts its regular program with breaking news of another mass shooting. It’s going to happen, you now, as long as maniac killers are guaranteed success and “fame.” So now ask yourself if your representatives have demonstrated enough fidelity to their oaths to give you confidence that they’ll hold fast. Back to the Articles of Confederation as America's Central Government [More]"How to Restore the West" and Axioms 1 and 2 precede this, and are linked at the end. What I'm interested in is Axiom 4, "how to organize and structure the restoration of our individual states back to the Articles," not yet posted, and the remaining Axioms to outline how we're supposed to get from here to there. Judging by the ruthless history of those in power, I don't imagine they'll go gentle into that good night. Judging from what I've read so far, I'm going to assume the author is well aware of that and will address that.
During the hearing, many pro-rights supporters were shocked and offended that Senator Beth Bye was ignoring testimony to use social media that included mocking and complaining of the pro-rights people testifying and even going so far to ‘participate’ through Twitter in a ‘drinking game’ that sought to mock the people she is supposed to represent. Here's more on that.
At Grant's Creek, Col. Francis Locke's militia had been destroying the bridge when Lt. Col. Tarleton and his Legion arrived. The Patriots held up Lt. Col. Tarleton's dragoons for over three hours, until his mounted troops were finally able to cross the river and circle around the rear of the militia. Col. Locke's militia fled, pursued by the British Legion. [More]

United States Probation is getting them,” it was explained.Today's Gun Rights Examiner report brings the latest outrage this poor family must endure, courtesy of that entity Constitutionally mandated "to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity."
What this means is, the only reason the father and son have not already been released and must wait until at least Monday to be able to rejoin their family, is because those holding them are unable to comply with the judge’s order, and made no preparations anticipating the likely potential that a prosecution relying on suppression of evidence to win convictions might be overruled. "There is absolutely no deterrent in technology except against those who would abide by the law, and for them I see harassment, denials, and increased costs," said David Codrea, author of The War on Guns. Another concern would be that someone with nefarious motives could hack the system via some sort of "master key," said Codrea. Such fears, along with costs, could certainly limit adoption. [More]Actually, it's not so much someone hacking in as the cops having a remote shutoff switch that I was referring to.

Not wanting to be bothered with details in an ideological conflict is intentionally putting on blinders. It’s like soldiers on the battlefield not wanting to know about enemy positions, capabilities, movements and logistics. In war time and in peace, people die to obtain such information, and people die from the lack of it, and yet we have a significant percentage of self-styled activist gun owners who not only don’t care, but disparage and discourage its collection and dissemination. Since when is that a winning attitude? [More]Today's Gun Rights Examiner column points to a chair more of us would do well to pick up and swing in this bar fight being forced upon us.
