Unalienable rights are supposed to be. After all, they were endowed by our Creator. Or inherent to the condition of being human for those of you who reject such notions.
So it's no surprise that when you allow mere men to presume authority to commit the blasphemy of dispensing or withholding them, they will continue to make profane every sacred blessing they can pull within their foul reach.
Seeing as how that's been permitted to happen, and submitted to without defiance in solidarity by believers, this latest move by the defilers in Illinois to out gun owners seems perfectly understandable in the context of rendering unto Caesar that which is his.
Isn't it interesting though--the state idol worshipers at the Associated Press are all in an ecstatic frenzy to get their claws on the names of "law-abiding" gun owners. But as for law-breaking enforcers, we have yet to hear a peep.

A sophisticated operation run out of a Bessemer home removed serial numbers from guns, replaced them with fake numbers and possibly put thousands of untraceable firearms on the street, according to federal authorities and court records. [More]And then there's this:
The operation was stopped by the ATF during a two-year undercover investigation of gun trafficking from Oklahoma to Alabama.So at what point did they learn about this guy, at what point did they intervene, who issued directions, and what damage was done in the interim?

Was ICE agent killed with ‘walked’ gun?
When the killing was first reported, two separate journalists investigating the unfolding “Project Gunwalker” story asked this correspondent if walked guns were involved, but at the time it was premature to even speculate. Since revelations in this arrest show “the [arrested] men were the subject of an undercover investigation by agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Drug Enforcement Administration in November," it’s no longer premature—at least to speculate. These are the comments I sent to my representative, Paul Gosar, by means of GOA’s contact option at http://capwiz.com/gunowners/dbq/officials/:I suppose now advocates for both viewpoints are going to hash this out on blogs and in forums...
I am a dedicated and long-term activist for the restoration of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Still, I must ask that you vote "no" on HR 822, the Stearns-Shuler bill to mandate nationwide recognition of state carry permits. Laudable as the goal sounds, the concept is a Trojan horse.
Sen. Feinstein has already announced her intent to establish federal standards for the issuance of concealed-carry permits at state level, to include a California-style requirement for proof of need. Costly medical and psychological testing, along with police-level "qualification" courses could also be included.
While none of this is in the current bill, making the carry of firearms a federal matter creates a ready vehicle for amendment when the political pendulum swings back to the left. The nation's experience with the 55 mph speed limit showed how easily the federal government can obtain compliance with federal standards simply by threatening to withhold federal funds.

We're the Only Ones Setting the Bar High Enough
Recently, here in the state of Washington, King County prosecutors announced that they would not charge Seattle Police Officer Ian Birk for the shooting death of Native American woodcarver John T. Williams despite a police firearms review board deciding that the shooting was unjustified. In this case, prosecutors cited Washington State law which they say sets such a high bar against prosecuting police officers in such cases that they could not charge Birk even though his actions appeared negligent at best. I wonder who could possibly be against such a change? Aside from all the usual suspects.
And, of course, it would still leave those mourning victims killed before any change SOL as far as any legal recourse goes.

My lawsuit against the state was dismissed in summary judgment on 1-21-11. I filed for an amended order and my petition was granted on 2-14-11. This is my lawsuit against the state of Tennessee which claims that Tennessee law prohibiting the loaded carry of handguns is facially unconstitutional.

For the past fourteen years, Bare Arms has operated without accident or complaint. Recently a Dallas Developer, Frank Nuchereno with Anthony Properties, purchased 200 acres adjoining the range and has attempted to squeeze out the little gun range. So far an injunction against Bare Arms has been denied but the attempt required this small business owner to hire legal counsel.

Revelations on CleanUpATF brought “Project Gunwalker” to light in the first place, and those allegations have been consistently bolstered by all who have examined them since Vanderboegh and this correspondent first started reporting on this unfolding story. The credibility factor for charges being substantiated remains high, and Senator Charles Grassley and others pressing forward with investigations must take these new allegations very seriously, and make them part of their fact-finding efforts. On February 23, 1779 Clark and his group were within three miles of the Fort at Vincennes. They were able to take a British prisoner who told them everything they needed to know. Clark knew he was outnumbered, so he devised a plan to make it seem that there were a lot more men than forty-seven storming the Fort. Vincennes sat on the top of a mountain. He had his men march around in a circle around the fort. The British and the Indians thought there were thousands of soldiers outside. The Indians ran for their safety. That left about 150 British soldiers inside the fort. [More]

GOA’s Pratt talks ‘Project Gunwalker’ over Fox host Megyn Kelly’s objections
Believing it relevant to the discussion, Pratt introduced key points involving “Project Gunwalker,” allegations about gun monitoring operations by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) gone awry. Host Kelly quickly tried to steer away from that, claiming it unfair to talk about because ATF was not there to defend themselves. Pratt replied they will not talk about it with Sen.
