Countdown

WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME. [More]

There is something Republicans can do, but that depends on Oregon gun owners doing their part.

Our greatest enemy has always been those who do nothing while a handful struggles with the load.

10 Years Later

Today marks the 10th anniversary of the ambush and murder of ICE-HSI Special Agent Jaime Zapata in Mexico. He was killed by narcoterrorists with the drug cartel Los Zetas and his partner Victor Avila was seriously wounded. Some of the weapons used by the narcoterrorists were walked to Mexico as part of the Obama-Biden Administration’s Operation Fast and Furious. Victor Avila was our guest tonight on the Polite Society Podcast. He spoke about the ambush and the aftermath. [More]

And if "our leaders" have learned one thing, it's that there's apparently nothing they can't get away with.

We're the Only Ones Undetecting Enough

All Things Being Equal...

When discussing the exodus of peoples from communist regimes such as Cuba’s, it is common practice to describe their escape as a flight from oppression, or a search for freedom. These labels are evocative and correct, but in order to deepen our understanding of the root causes for this migration it is also helpful to think of it as a flight from equality. [More]

Don't tell me. Tell this ingrate.

And yeah, there's Opposite Day "progressive equality" and there's the real thing.

Gun-Grabber Hogg to Stuff Pillows with Astroturf

They want to destroy not just Mike Lindell for having the temerity to believe the presidential election was stolen, but his entire company, and the 1,500 employees who rely on the jobs he provides for their livelihoods, their housing, their food, their children. Democrats make a big deal about being the “party of the workin’ man,” but when “progressive” priorities take precedent, the pawns become expendable. [More]

In other words, they're signaling their predetermined intent to "justify" continuing and expanding the "gun control" edict they managed to pass as a direct result of their clearing the way for guns to walk to Mexico.

That means the timing of the cartel-arming noise from DEA is hardly coincidental.

I'm kind of wondering why I haven't gotten an urgent alert spreading the news and soliciting participation from groups that ask for money so they can lead gun owners in the defense of our rights.

Think of it as 'Home Rule'

The State of Missouri has been leading the way, though singularly focused on Second Amendment issues, it still leads to the same place. Missouri passed their SAPA law rejecting all federal gun laws in the state. Similarly, Newton County went a step further and announced that it would arrest federal agents attempting to enforce unconstitutional federal gun laws in their county. Utah got into the pro-Second Amendment act with signing into law concealed carry without need of a permit. All of these are positive state laws designed to isolate them from federal laws that might be passed and signed under Democrat majority and the Biden Administration. Texas might very likely pass Constitutional Carry in this session as well.  [More]

Carano re-shared the following post on her Instagram story late Tuesday night: “Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children. This article isn't new but it's the first time I recall seeing it. Good observations from a man who proves to be the exception to the rule when it comes to immigrants favoring Democrat disarmament...

I've experienced firsthand what it's like to see the joy of introducing shooting to a foreign national from a place where guns are banned (a Japanese executive in my case) and to argue for the rights of people from all demographics and persuasions. About the only thing I won't "tolerate" are those who enjoy the right and then vote for those actively eviscerating it.

I do have one reservation about the piece: I wish he'd picked somebody other than The French Mistake to use for his example.

Signs, Signs, Everywhere There's Signs

A gunman with a history of threatening medical workers ... Ulrich, a longtime resident of Buffalo, had "multiple contacts" with law enforcement dating back to 2003 ... Police reports show Ulrich had made threats of a mass shooting at the clinic in October 2018 ...Ulrich's former roommate ... said he was not surprised when he heard law enforcement on television reveal who they had arrested as a suspect ... "He was creepy, give you dirty looks ... He had a blank stare all the time." [More]

So let's review the bidding: The grabbers admit they "don’t know all the details here with this particular case," so naturally, the "solution" is to blood dance their way to due process-denying disarmament edicts against people not proven guilty of anything, and leave those who can't be trusted without a custodian free access to whomever they wish to attack next. As if "laws" stop "prohibited persons" "adjudicated unfit to stand for trial,” like this maniac from getting guns in the first place...

The object is to create accepting institutional inmates, not free citizens, and the foundational work is done in K-12.  Why do you think so many go into meltdown hysterics when they see someone with a gun who is not a guard?

As an aside, I was out on the porch last night streaming an old supernatural/airliner flick with the space heater cranked to "High" and a nice Maduro and two fingers of Bulleit, and was delighted to see an old WoG regular playing the role of a woman passenger.

They're Not Going to Stop with Expulsions

The claims about Caldwell’s high-security clearance and FBI service add to concerns about extremism in the military and law enforcement. The indictments against numerous alleged rioters with military and police connections have led local agencies to open investigations and the Pentagon to order each military branch to dedicate time to addressing the problem in the coming months. First off, if you want to convince me that this man is guilty of anything, I'm going to need more than MSN subversives hyperventilating about "masterminds."

What I really take away from this -- and from other official statements about purging the ranks of Constitutionalists -- is how it wouldn't take much to gin up demands for dishonorable discharges, and thus for a lifetime "prohibited person" gun ban on men with military training who are viewed by the violence monopolists as a threat to their unchecked power.

Strange Games Continued

There are no white hats coming to save us. It is now up to millions of truculent, disagreeable, angry, deplorable citizens to undermine the establishment and force this empire built on a foundation of unpayable debt to collapse. It might seem like a daunting task, but each individual act of resistance is like a grain of sand added to the unstable pile. No one knows which grain will trigger the catastrophic failure of the system. We are all capable of becoming the straw that broke the camel’s back. [More]

We saw Part 1 yesterday. I'm glad to see he acknowledges that at some point hands are going to need to get dirty, just like the Founders did when noting the long train of abuses and an ultimate right to alter and abolish that which is destructive to the ends of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

History Repeats Itself

The Athenian government disloyal to Athens’ laws and contemptuous of its traditions was known as the Thirty Tyrants, and understanding its role and function helps explain what is happening in America today. [More]

As an aside, the observation that "The NBA’s $1.5 billion contract with digital service provider Tencent made the Chinese firm the league’s biggest partner outside America" explains much.

Hate is Hate

In the name of equity, the SPLC announced that it’s shutting down its black nationalist hate groups category like the Nation of Islam. After “doing the internal work of anti-racism”, the SPLC will no longer list black racist hate groups because “the hate is not equal”. [More]

Good. Accelerate it. Take the mask off. Throw caution to the wind and seize all you can. Then demand more.

Squeeze, baby, squeeze.

A government with enough power doesn't even need to pay lip service to justice. You'd think a refugee from Castro's Cuba would know that, and you'd be right.

Naturally, The LA Times, which doesn't want you to be able to defend yourself, is a major cheerleader for getting predators back on the streets stat.
